ABC News: Multiple Star Wars Films Still Being Developed

  On Wednesday, June 20, we reported that all spin-off films were being put on hold after Solo's disappointing box office reception. Despite this news, Lucasfilm has told ABC News that there are multiple films still in the works. 

“Lucasfilm told ABC News there are still “multiple” Star Wars films currently in development that have not been officially announced. Those projects are moving forward separate from an already-announced “Star Wars” trilogy being overseen by “The Last Jedi” director Rian Johnson and another series of movies from “Game of Thrones” producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss.”

  Lucasfilm's reassurances, however, do not cover the anticipated Kenobi and Boba Fett movies.
