New 'Star Wars Fan Awards' Announced
If you're a talented artist with an knack for anything from movies to cosplay, and a passion for Star Wars, then the new announcement by StarWars.com will be sure to get you excited.
In an effort to reward and celebrate the creative capabilities of the fandom, from July 18 to September 17 StarWarsFanAwards.com will be accepting submissions in four main categories (with several awards under each): long film, short film, photography, and visual art.
The official winners will be decided by a panel of Lucasfilm judges, while the Audience Choice award will be decided by us fans. Voting for Audience Choice award opens from November 2 to November 13.
“We want to honor the many ways that fans express their love of a galaxy far, far away — including everything from fan-made films to cosplay and beyond. So if you’re most impressive, we want to see what you can do.”
