What Hasbro Star Wars Has in Store for Us

The San Diego Comic Con is coming to a close, and a massive amount of exciting news has been revealed. We've talked about the Clone Wars panel and now its time to look at the Hasbro Star Wars panel.  The toymakers revealed to the audiences lots of new releases, talking about design processes, and much more throughout the discussion. So, make room in your collections!

Jabba's Sail Barge: The largest Star Wars vehicle to ever be produced as a toy once it is released is almost ready for the fans.

This is a reality. After 40 years we’re finally going to produce the Khettana.
— Joe Ninivaggi, Hasbro Director of Global Brand Strategy and Marketing

Micro Force: New vehicles and figures were revealed for Micro Force, the cute and tiny figures, including walkers, X wings, and TIE fighters.

So [we’re] thinking about that disproportionate, angular, chiseled aesthetic, but still thinking about that cute factor, which is not a word we toss around too often out here.
— Mason Fisk, Senior Designer

Lightsabers!: As the prequels near their 20th year anniversary, new FX lightsabers are on the way for fans. Legendary Jedi and Sith like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, and Darth Maul lightsabers are coming in 2019.

Black Series Figures: The MVP Padawan of the Ghost family is coming to fans as a Black Series figure (finally!) in his Season One design, with a three-balled-joint neck and extra articulation. The figure will come with his original lightsaber and his Imperial cadet helmet.

Ezra isn't the only member of the Ghost family to be hitting shelves. Also coming as a Black Series figure is the one and only Chopper. He comes with arms that collapse into his dome, fully functioning wheels, as well as a blast-off display base. We can also expect new fan favorites like Rio Durant (from Solo: A Star Wars Story) and Enfys Nest, as well as classics being brought back to life like Boba Fett, Bossk, and IG-88, and cool new Funkos (Obi Wan, Darth Maul, among others). We can also expect some Clone Wars figures to soon be revealed some time in the future in honor of the announcement of the sixth (and final) season.
