‘The Craft’ Reboot Gets New Director & Writer
Blumhouse has found a new director and writer for The Craft reboot, Zoe Lister-Jones. Not only has she acted(Lister-Jones currently stars on Life In Pieces alongside Colin Hanks), but she has worked behind the camera as well writing, directing, producing and even working on the soundtrack for her film Band Aid.
It's unclear right now if it will be a reboot or a sequel to the original film. Three years ago Leigh Janiak was working on a sequel set twenty years later, but was replaced by Zoe Lister-Jones who is said to be taking a fresh approach.
The original cast hasn't said to be returning yet. Robin Tunney, Neve Campbell, Rachel True, and Fairuza Balk starred as the coven of misfit witches in the 1996 release. It has been 23 years since the release of the first film, and fans are eagerly waiting for more witchery.
