Full Moon Announces 'Subspecies 5: Blood Rise'
Full moon Features recently announced that they are continuing one of their biggest franchises, Subspecies. It has been over 20 years since the release of Subspecies 4: Bloodstorm, and I still remember going with my brother to rent this from Blockbuster when it came out. Full Moon has some great films, but this series always caught my attention with a new release.
Anders Hove will be returning as the vampire master Radu in Bloodrise: Subspecies 5. Ted Nicolaou, writer and director of the series is leading the project as well. Once it's released, it will be the 6th film in the series and the first film in their new project.
Charles Band's Deadly Ten, 10 original Full Moon Features that are all being filmed back-to-back. Shooting begins this Summer, and all 10 films are premiering exclusively on Amazon starting February 14, 2020. When I saw Charles at Texas Frightmare, he said "It's going to be great. We're filming all ten films back to back and you can watch the full production of each film live as it's happening on our website, deadlyten.com". There are a lot of great movies they are making, and one of them is Blade: The Iron Cross. Everyone's favorite killer puppet from Puppet Master is finally getting his own stand-alone film! I absolutely can't wait to see this tiny terror take on an army of nazi zombies! Full Moon Features always delivers with great horror films that are entertaining as hell, and this gives me something else to look forward to next year.
