More Galaxy’s Edge Details Revealed

All Star Wars fans are highly anticipating the Grand Opening of Disney’s new attraction, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Set to open in June of 2019 for Disneyland and Fall of 2019 for Disneyworld, the new park will feature over 300 animatronic figures with the ride lasting an astounding 28 minutes! 

Some details of the ride have been released to the public. Disney sold tickets for $299 to allow a small number of fans to get a behind the scenes look at the upcoming ride. Imagine, being transported as a prisoner to a Star Destroyer! You can observe your journey to the Destroyer through windows, and after boarding, you will be rescued by Resistance members. At some point after your rescue, while on a trackless vehicle, you will be dodging laser blasts and weaving through two AT-AT’s before your return to the planet’s surface! With as epic as that sounds… there is more.

Take over Han Solo’s chair inside the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon to experience a ride called Smuggler’s Run. This ride is going to be much like a video game that seats 6 people! Take control of the Falcon, navigate through space, and fend of enemies like you’ve never experienced before. The ride will feature randomized missions so no two experiences will be the same. 

The entire park is to feature out of this world technology that will only perfect your submersed experience into this galaxy far, far away. Mark the dates on your calendar as well as December 2019 for the release of Star Wars IX!
