Art The Clown Returns In ‘Terrifier 2’

Terrifier fans are in for a real treat, Terrifier 2 begins production this Fall. With the announcement being released on the film's Facebook page, they definitely gave us a lot to look forward to. "Our production company Dark Age Cinema is producing once again which means the inmates are still running the asylum. We are unchained and unrestricted, so rest assured, Terrifier 2 will be the merciless, no holds barred follow-up you've been hoping for."

Thanks to the numerous requests from fans for a crowd funding campaign, our requests were answered! In the coming weeks a small Indiegogo campaign will begin. All kinds of sweet perks will be available from social media shout-outs, screen used props, even an opportunity to be killed by Art the Clown himself! If the goal is reached, the proceeds will go to what's said to be the biggest, most mind blowing scene in the film. 

Damien Leone is of course returning as writer/director and the incredibly talented David Howard Thornton is once again blessing us in his role as Art, the silent, sadistic clown who leaves a trail of bodies(some not always intact) wherever he goes. When I first saw Terrifier when it was released in March 2018, I instantly became a fan. The dark, twisted story that unfolds is definitely reminiscent of an 80's slasher with practical fx used throughout the film. The official synopsis for Terrifier 2 reads" After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to Miles County where he must hunt down and destroy a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. Pray you don't get in his way." Terrifier was an absolute gore filled masterpiece that I am extremely excited to get more of.
