Blumhouse’s ‘Halloween’ Sequel Finds Writer; Original Cast Members Confirmed!
Looks like Jamie Lee Curtis cannot get a break! Recently, Blumhouse announced a ‘Halloween’ sequel, but there was little news on the topic of Jamie Lee Curtis returning. According to an article on ScreenRant, Blumhouse is looking at Scott Teems to write the ‘Halloween’ sequel. Teems, was also the writer for two Stephen King adaptations for his novels Firestarter and The Breathing Method.
The article also states information attained by Collider, the sequel’s three leading ladies, Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Geer, and Andi Matichak, are all set to return. The only issue concerning Curtis’s return is her statement that she would only return if they had an adequate creative team. Considering, the latest ‘Halloween’ sequel raked in $253 million at the worldwide box office, it shows the fandom never died. The report also states Jason Blum will be heavily involved, and Gordon Green and Danny McBride are expected to executive produce.
